ABOUT JLEE BAKERY BY JEN

JLee Bakery is the dream-turned-reality of founder Jennifer Lee, who’s been passionate about baking since childhood. While other kids watched cartoons, Jen was glued to The Food Network—and by 8 years old, she was baking with box mixes. By 13, she was creating original recipes from scratch, and by high school, she knew she wanted to make baking her career.

Jen earned her Associate Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from The Culinary Institute of America in 2021, and in May 2025, she graduated magna cum laude from Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelor's in Entrepreneurship. Along the way, she gained hands-on experience working in her family’s dim sum restaurant, at Never Enough Bakeshop in Mystic, Gourmet Galley Catering, and by constantly experimenting in her home kitchen.

JLee Bakery was born during the early days of the pandemic in 2020, when Jen began selling macarons through Instagram. What started as no-contact deliveries quickly blossomed into a full-fledged certified home bakery—bringing comfort and celebration to her local community during uncertain times.

Today, JLee Bakery is known for its bold flavors, visually stunning desserts, and creative twists on classic treats. Jen’s love of photography, social media, and storytelling also plays a huge role in the brand’s vibrant personality. Beyond the kitchen, she’s a content creator, book lover, chicken mama, and a proud competitor on a televised baking show—with hopes of returning to compete again.

With plans to open a storefront in Mystic, CT, JLee Bakery is just getting started. Thanks to a loyal and supportive community, Jen is excited to continue sharing her sweet creations and living her lifelong dream—one dessert at a time.
